Where did the Red Dead Redemption 2 Special Edition go?

There used to be 3 editions of Red Dead Redemption 2 for sale on Steam.

-1- Red Dead Redemption 2 standard edition (just the base game)
-2- Red Dead Redemption 2 special edition (included six story-mode content items including the Black Chestnut Thoroughbred)
-3- Read Dead Redemption 2 ultimate edition (included everything: all the story-mode content plus four additional online-exclusive content items)

But now I see that only the standard and ultimate editions are for sale on Steam. The former "special" edition has been removed. So my question is, "what happened to the special edition content?" Has this content been rolled into the standard edition and the story-mode content is part of the standard edition now? Or is it exclusive to the ultimate edition now, and you HAVE to buy the full ultimate edition to get additional story-mode items, even if you don't plan on playing online or using the online items?

special edition is now part of the Ultimate package, but you aren't missing much on it anyway an extra mission and gang hideout, etc so just get standard edition

So even the offline single-player content was rolled into the ultimate edition? There's no way to get it without getting the whole thing?

Yea special edition version ended when RDO standalone came out
