I have set it as a launch option but this one wont work on windows so either find a windows equivalent or set the latency in windows before starting the game.
I think it's related to the Spatial audio you use. I bought Dolby Atmos for Headphones and after I started using that I've had no audio crackling at all.
To everyone in this thread a bug was introduced in a hotfix / patch. I have a paired Z625 logitec system you don't pair these because they are extremely loud I jump in last night because I just got a Evga 3070 rtx FTW Ultra I wanted to test the game out with . My volume at max settings was like 20 % in-game it has never been or sounded like this take it from an audiophile this is a BUG 100% sucks this is what we get for Xmas break thanks Rockstar. I won't forget this. On anything you people touch going forward I will vote with my wallet as of right now i'm not buying anymore of your games you lost a customer with this one, games been broken on and off patch to patch but to end 2020 with this yea never again don't even get me started on your lack of anti-cheat with games you make hundreds of millions of dollars off of. Why I have only played single player in these games for like 7 years now. This was one of the games I wanted to test my new card out with the volume thing ruins it for me to far into this games life cycle for game breaking bugs to be introduced like this i'm sry this is unacceptable.
is a change in frequency;
Task Bar--Sound setting [Right click; Open Sound Setting]
Related Settings--Sound Control Panel
<select> Active playback device [green arrow]--Properties--Advanced
Change Default Format [sample rate & bit depth]
The one that seem to work well for most user in RDR2 is
24 bit, 44100 Hz ( instead of 48000 hz)
( and if you dont use it Voice Chat --Off--)
Hope it helps.
