Is anyone else disappointed too with the hunting wagon?
I find it pretty easy to hunt 3 star pronghorn/deer whenever I set my camp near Hanging Dog Ranch, it's really easy to fill the materials bar in 30 minutes this way, so I don't see the point of the hunting wagon. It can be useful when you come across a cougar/panther or other big animals as you can safely store them, but that's it. I'll end up buying it anyway, but it's disappointing not because of the carcasses limit (5 carcasses + lots of pelts), but because it costs almost 900 dollars.

My only problem with the trader role is that I have to do a resupply mission every 25 units. Once I reach rank 20 I will supposedly have enough money to just pay the dollars in resupply materials.

So, should I buy it?

i wish it would hold alot more skins and meat ..

i even wish we could get a larger wagon for transports like a taxi driver in the city´s and across the country ..

and i wish the map was alot bigger than it is ..

and i wish you could upgrade your character with speciel skills and strength .. you know a character skill point system of some kind ..

and i wish that you could chop down trees, stones and dig in the mines and build yourself a home or craft weapons, wagons, bows and other tools and craftmanships ..

i wish alot of this game, but will i get it ?

Ask rockstar about it ..

Nah map size is pretty decent. After 400 hours of main story I still wouldn't know how to get into some places. Map is big enough, it's the lack of activities what's killing this game. It's like a pitch without the ball, basically.

you can get $900 easy.... Gold Bars are hidden all over and each one is worth $500

when I got all this done I had like 7000 - 8000 when I was barely into chapter 2 on the story

It's more of a luxury item, it's not that much more effective than just using a horse.

I only use it to store Legendary animals that I come across out in the wild, and it's worth it just for that to me. If you don't have a lot of $ don't buy it to try and make more $.

The hunting wagon annoys me no end... when I request it, it ends up miles away, even when I'm on a main road. Very annoying, but it is helpful. I hunt on my horse, when I have enough I take everything off my horse and call the wagon, load it up and dismiss it. And do the same again until it's fully loaded.

And it's use is perfect for storing, as Hauzer says above.

Edit: The hunting wagon is good for going down to Lagros and getting a heap of alligators, or up near Emerald Station and getting a heap of bison.

I appreciate the answer, but I meant Red Dead Online.

I haven't thought about the legendary pelts and other animals such as panthers. I'll keep that in mind but yeah, for now it won't be necessary then.
