If i finish the game how do i..

How do i for example go back and get items i missed? For example someone posted about a unique jacket you get from Pearson in chapter 2 in a very time specific event which i of course missed.

How can i go back and play in chapter 2 and get it?

If you missed the chance to get it when it was available, you won't be able to obtain it anymore on this save file.

In Story mode you can replay all the chapters
Go to first menu Story>View Story progress and replay missions.

open the chapter of choice, for example inside chapter 1

That's only for replaying missions though, he wants to play open world in that chapter again

Obviosly you have never moved away from missions and just went exploring.
If they are not time sensative we can go exploring anytime for a 100's hours if we want.
Its open world game.

So if i select chapter 2 and pick the first story mission i can just not do it and free roam? Also will things i unlock in this state transfer to my fully completed game?

I am really confused as to how someone would get a 100% complete game with all items,weapons and clothes etc if i can't go back for things i missed.
