1) Dutch continues to ignore the protests of Hosea and no doubt other members of the gang. No matter what though, I can't imagine they'll be remaining in Saint Denis any longer with Hosea's protests. Instead they'll flee north into the wilderness and camp out where they normally would at near the end of the game. At some point I Imagine Dutch will try to enact vengeance upon Leviticus Cornwall for hiring the Pinkertons like in the original game. I imagine after killing him, Hosea will have had enough of Dutch's contradictory BS and tries to leave with Arthur, Charles, Uncle, John and the girls + Jack... It's anyone's guess if maddened Dutch and Micah bring things to a gunfight. Bill will probably side with Dutch, not sure about Javier.
If they make it out alive, they'll probably give up the nomadic lifestyle and settle somewhere out west in New Austin, maybe even on MacFarlane's Ranch. With Dutch either dead or still out east, they won't have to worry about the Pinkertons(atleast for a while). Since all of this takes place without going to Guarma, Arthur has plenty of time to recover from his sickness.
2) Dutch either finally listens to Hosea or the rest of the gang agree that staying east now is far too risky. They immediately pack up and sneak in the dead of night past Blackwater and to New Austin, where they'll probably stay low for a few months, somewhere between in between Tumbleweed and Armadillo. It's likely Dutch and other members of the gang will find opportunities to try and rob both towns. No doubt this will draw the Pinkertons to their location(though the rat probably was feeding them info too), at which point they'll flee either further west or go to Mexico.
Again, I can see Arthur surviving in this scenario as well. Regardless of how active things get, I can't imagine Hosea will tolerate Arthur doing much outside the camp in his sickened state.
Here's my guess, if Hosea lived, Dutch wouldn't have lost his head and the gang would make it to Tahiti, or maybe the boat captain taking the gang to Tahiti would betray them and tell the pinkertons, or maybe they all would have died during some other robbery...many more things can happen
I misread this as Arthur living with John like Uncle.
"Arthur! Get up and do some work!"
"I can't! I got TB!"
At least until Undead Nightmare.
