Story Mode Stuck during mission with Hosea to give away the Moonshine

So in Chapter 3 I've just reached the point where Arthur and Hosea have gone to the the saloon in Rhodes to give away the Braithwaite Moonshine after meeting Catherine Braithwaite. The Lemoyne Raiders show up and I kill the ones that come into the bar, then I get told to go upstairs to help Hosea. I run up the stairs kill some more Raiders then there is one last raider struggling with Hosea and I have to kill him before he chucks Hosea off the balcony and the mission fails. However everytime I shoot him the game seems to bug out, the camera bugs out and it's like I get a cinematic kill even though I have them turned off in the options and I'm then stuck in first person unable to move. I can still hear gunfighting going on and Arthur and Hosea are talking, eventually the game comes up with the Mission Failed screen after a couple of minutes due to Hosea dying again. This happens each time I restart the checkpoint. The mission breaks in the exact same place and same way each time and I can't continue at this point.

rockstar needs to fix the mess they made last week when the game became unplayable for some

This bug just happened with me. I didn't want to skip this scene, so after some tries with different weapons occasionally I've found the way how to not trigger this softlock: just shoot him from the first floor before going upstairs.

Hope this helps other people in future.

Still doesn’t fix the bug for me

Happened to me too…first floor doesn’t fix it

For me I have kill cam enabled and Hosea just magically dies when I shoot the raider.
