Sean MacGuire's item request (Spoilers)

So i'm in chapter 3, The next mission is the one where Arthur gets kidnapped and I know Sean will get killed in the following mission and he isn't around the camp leading up to that I looked up online and know his request can happen between 12PM to 6PM each day and you have to keep returning to the camp. I've been fast traveling between towns and kill time either doing a quick mission or mini-game between visits. BUT EVERY TIME I go the camp he's either sitting by the fire or on guard duty. I'm going for the achievement and Sean doesn't have much time left . I'm thinking it's bugged.

Has anyone else ran into this issue?

I just kept talking to the members in camp, didn't use fast travel at all, go hunt a few things or do something else for a while, come back and talk to him

So I kept riding out/into camp to change up the positions of the which I thought was working, I would talk to each of them but Sean keeps sitting by the campfire or the lake. I'm thinking I had to do this in chapter 2. Because Javier and Charles' requests happened multiple times.

No it can be requested in Ch.3 That's when I got it. Used this guide:

thanks, this is a good guide. Where is his table set up in chapter 3? The vid i have references he's behind where javier's tent is by the fire.

So i found out you don't have to do all of them, just do at least one at each camp.
