Gambler 8 is one of the dumbest challenges, the likes of which I have never seen

"Win three hands of Blackjack with three hits or more" Given that there are 4 sets of 4 cards with a value of 10, and the chance of getting an ace for 11, you are almost guaranteed to go over 21 every time you hit thrice. This challenge can take hours, days just to get lucky and without going over 21 or pushing. I'm probably not gonna be bothered to 100% this game unless there's some sort of exploit.

Yes - these challenges are baseless wastes if time... The devs were sitting in a room saying "how can we make players spend more time "playing" RDR2?"

I feel your pain. I spent quite some time on it too. Just bet 2 cents each time and always hit if you have a hand that theoreticly might not be a bust, so <=18 for the first hit, <= 19 for the second, <=20 for the third. You'll get it boay.

It sucked as pretty much all the gambler challenges do but can be done. But as said you have to be willing to piss your time down the drain to do so or be very lucky.
If want that kit no other options other than going to nexus and dl a save file which will have more than like done other things that you might have wanted to do yourself.

Enjoying the gambling games and got all those challenges first without much effort. This, except for 'win three consecutive times at dominoes' for which I went to Emerald Ranch after spending way too much time in Saint Denis. For blackjack it's hit hit hit like a mad man, got it in 15 minutes or so (in Rhodes), maybe it's luck, but hardly exciting.

For the poker challenge you have to play aggressive going all in or betting high before the flop making the others fold in fear. The five finger fillet's were dull.

So you only need a 3 card hand that is less than 21? Yeah that's actually quite common in blackjack and really isn't that hard. Basically any hand from A/2 (3) to 7 just hit until you reach a total under 21. It won't happen every time obviously but the chances of reaching a total under 21 when you've hit from say a 5 into a 8-12 is actually quite high.
