How to toggle sprint ??
there's only 2 setting: 1 is hold shift, 2 is double tap W to sprint. I don't want to hold that stupid shift all the time

There's walk, jog and sprint - jog is toggled from walk by holding and releasing <L-Shift> on kybd (or whatever key/button you use) while pressing and holding <W> (or whatever button you use for forward). Sprint is Hold the <L-Shift> key and the <W>.

In overland movement - you can return to Walk by stopping (releasing all keys) and then resuming.

Horse works the same way - although your horse takes along time to slow down and stop, so <CTRL> can stop your horse faster

I may be wrong but I think this game has the option you mentioned. I've played a few games where you can choose to double tap W.

I just checked the Game "Settings" for KYBD/MS

There is a Setting for Tapping Direction Key to Toggle between Walk, Run & Sprint

Can be done for horses also.

I spent my time watching the corners of my screen in order to figure out what button to press next to do anything in this game. I cannot believe that the very same company ported gta5 to pc. Kb+mouse is complete ♥♥♥♥. There isn't other word to describe this mess. Open the drawer, search the drawer, take the ♥♥♥♥ out of the drawer...

With the analog stick on a controller, there is actually a 4th speed, a slow walk.
It's slower than the regular walk, but faster than crouching.

Sadly, there seems to be no way to trigger/toggle that one.
