Best sniper rifle in single-player?

I hear the rolling block rifle is better in online because of its damage, but wouldn't the carcano rifle be better in single player because of dead eye? You could just head shot everyone, thus rendering damage not as important and making rate of fire matter more.

Hmmm...think it's just personal, I turn to like Carcano bit more but they're very identical

IMHO, Caracano because of the rate of fire, and you only lose a little damage and range in the tradeoff from the Rolling Block. You can make up the damage a bit using Express rounds or range using High Velocity.
