Have all lures/bait but only crickets work?
Like the title. Crickets are the only bait that works. The others are greyed out and the crickets never run out. Always stay on 5 no matter how much fish i catch. I have seen a lot of bugged bait comments all over the net. Am i boned? I think it started after Javiers mission (fishing in the forest). Before that all baits/lures worked. Is there anything i can do or do i have to start the game over? I cant catch the legendary fishies with crickets. Game owned on Epic. Thanks.

You need special lures for legendary fish
Special River Lure
Special Swamp Lure
Special Lake Lure

No lures but crickets work for me. ALL other lures are locked. Why? Can i do something about it?

Cheese is locked, corn is locked, bread is locked. I just bought more lures (I used them before) and they are all locked (greyed out) and i can not select them. ONLY crickets are white in color and usable. No matter how many times i use the crickets they NEVER run out from my inventory. I have 5 crickets FOREVER. I catch 50 fish with 5 crickets. Is this normal or is all of this a bug?

I went back to the creek where the fishing mission with Javier was and all my baits and lures work there... Nowhere else in the game but there. Does this ring a bell for someone? Did the same happen to you guys?

Ok so i found out the issue. I never used up all crickets i was given from Javier and thus they were mission-crickets that never ran out and i must have been locked in the mission as it wanted me to use up all those crickets in the creek where the mission was. Went back and used them all up and now all my other lures and bait work elsewhere. In case you get into the same issue - now you know what to do. The game didnt tell me this and i had other things to do than fish after Javier left. Would have been good if the game told you to use them all up in that creek.
