Invisible mouse cursor in menus etc...
So it's been a few days that i have got an invisible mouse cursor when playing RDR2 in menus/backpacks/weapon wheel etc...
i have tried setting the game to fullscreen or borderless windowed but it doesnt seem to help at all..
the only option that seems to be working is setting the game to windowed but then i have the annoying top bar and a bit of screen cut off from the bottom
also mouse pointer traits is disabled from the control panel so this is not the issue
any other things that i might be missing? thanks

hello? anyone?

That may be a mouse driver issue with your HID hardware. I remember a very similar problem with a game long ago and either ctrl+enter command or some other keyboard combination solved it for me.

Did you end up finding any traction with this? I've been searching for a while for a solution and nobody has anything that has worked :(

Every Google on the subject ends with disabling Mouse Trails in Windows to fix it.

There's also a setting in game to 'Constrain the pointer' - which hopefully keeps it on the main monitor if you have 2 or more. <---I have 3, but the mouse never leaves the one the game is on... for some reason.

Yeah, unfortunately those were things I've tried and it didn't seem to work lol. I tried both of those with ea h other in every iteration possible and it just seems stubborn ><

"Z" also changes ammo types. I mentioned it in the other thread as well.

I just did that one, and it still isn't showing up. It'll make doing everything clunky for sure, but at least I can probably manage most things with a little practice.

there's a setting for that , i think it might be in game play or controls , i think it's something like loss of focus or something

I found the mouse wheel a PITA to change ammo types - I usually pass by what I want at least twice. With 'Z' it seems easier - and I rebound that to a key I could use 'cause 'Z' is like in California - and I'm in Boston.

Works great now and way more accurate to select than the Mouse Wheel.

Upgrade ur mouse drivers.

I recently had Logitech Bolt blow completely up - everything was constantly scanning everything else. I had to uninstall all my wireless devices, uninstall all the Logitech Crapware and use only the Logitech Unified Software - and now everything is peachy.
