Smoke a cigar for longer?

Is there any way in game or mod option to be able to smoke cigars/cigs for more than 1 second?

I'd also like to know if it's possible to smoke for longer, would be nice to just chill on a peak, smoke and enjoy the view.

Single player you're stuck taking a drag and tossing it away. Online, if you use the "smoke cigarette/cigar" emotes, you can smoke for a while if you hold down the emote for the duration.

W/O modding? Probably not, but if you get the Legend of the East satchel you can hold 99 of each type of tonic.

Do tonics lengthen the amount of time I can smoke?

No, but u can carry up to 99 for cigars and both kinds of cigarettes. Having 297 smoking items on u.

I smoked a cig in front of Harriet to see if R* really got creative. She's the kind of ♥♥♥♥♥ that would nag and complain, cough, cover her face, etc. Nope, she ignored it.

They still need to add Cripps to GTAO, under an overpass telling his stories.

For the singleplayer I do not think so. I have wanted an option to smoke cigars and cigarettes for longer as well. It's possible in Red Dead Online with emotes but as far as I'm aware you'd probably need a mod for the singleplayer.

So I sort of figured it out but it's not as streamlined as I would like. If you download jedijosh920's trainer you can play smoking animations. Although you have to activate it through the trainer and you can't walk around (at least I'm not seeing a way to as of yet).

yea, as said before, smoking 1 puff only is from activating the item from inventory menus.
smoking multiple puffs requires the specific Smoke Cigarette or Smoke Cigar emote with button-holding to maintain puffage

Well I'm not finding the emotes just the in-game NPC smoking animations.

the emotes are purchaseable somehow. check the catalogue maybe. if not in the list of emotes maybe in the list of role items.

I don't know where that has been said as there are huge modding communities in GTAV and RDR2 is growing. If they started banning people for using mods in SP, there would be backlash. Online I understand though, and don't plan on using any mods online.
