Horse Coupon not working. Help me save money!

I got this coupon for one free horse unlocked before level forty, but when i go to the catalogue or stable to redeem it, the option is grayed out- I can't apply it. I've re-logged to no avail. OR just go to social club website click on Red dead online in games tab.
And click benefits.
IN benefits Offers & rewards and it is the same website as the link i send.

Yes. I triple checked it, and even bought an additional stall (+2 from what I had) still no luck :/

No but the coupon says I unlock a horse before level 40. Unless I'm interpreting the wording, it sounds like I can unlock one horse before level 40, despite not being the required level

It's a token that gives you X that you could normally buy at that level.

I think you need to be level 36 to unlock it, then you can use the coupon
