NPCs in a fight/duel

What do you do here? The one time I got involved in one of them - the guys south of Blackwater it was a MURDER charge for me. There is also one where 2 women are fighting by the camp in Valentine.

Yeah, I was wondering that too.

I have tried to hogtie one before she could shoot (Valentine) but nothing happened except she getting mad at me......

I don't need a game for that :P

But yeah, I am interested too if there is something to it, or that it is just an event to "watch" to make it lively or so?

I've seen a duel happen in van horn and when one of the guys died everyone in the town started shooting at me like I did it.

weird, I just had a duel today in valentine and didn't catch any charges. Maybe the locale matters?

OP is referencing fights between NPCs.

Van Horn is fun if you don't need honor you could just start the biggest shootouts and get no bounty

Van Horn is the most tight community I have seen:
Look bad at one of the people there, and the whole village will come after you....

I do get a bounty eventually btw, but it is worth the effort and the price sometimes hehehe

Sorry, it was an NPC duel. The guy gunned down the first NPC, then challenged me. I told him to F off, he shot at me. I put him in the dirt. No charges/bounty. No one even blinked

there's a duel in Valentine that you can watch, and then challenge the winner when he starts bragging. no consequences for winning.

it's two guys in front of the cinema tent. i saw it in ch 2.
