Will Harriet will rotate missions..?
Seems that right now she only has a certain few missions and frankly they've already become over-done and dry..
Would be nice if they rotate them out weekly for some of the other animals especially since some players[such as myself] have spent literal days looking for the ones in the wild with no success.

Honestly starting to wonder if I've become bugged as I've tried camping the same one over multiple sessions, tried swapping to other known spawns of ones I've not yet found, tried the pheromone, nothing. :\

Feels like I was seeing more of the legendaries in my early rank days of naturalism but now i've been rank 20 for about four days or so and have not seen a SINGLE legendary.

I've only seen one legendary 'in the wild'. The beaver by Owanjila Dam.

As for missions, I've seen roughly 8 different ones I think, but I haven't really checked all that often. I read somewhere if you do the poaching missions (think it is spacebar when you are in her mission UI - bottom right has the key) that it resets the others, but haven't tried it.

Hmm will have to give that a try then because I'm growing desperate at this point because before I came across several the first time I entered their areas.. Now I'm max naturalist and am suddenly finding myself unable to find any despite there being a perk for increased chance of finding them.. Almost feels as though it actually REPELS them lol.

She has a few legendary animal missions that she cycles through, but it doesn't seem to be a very long list at the moment. However, they did add a couple new ones to her list with this week's content update, so that implies that they're intending to add more over time. As it stands though, I'm pretty sure that if you want to get all of the legendary animals, you'll have to find most of them on your own - which is probably a more pleasant way to hunt them anyway, if you can find them. Some of Harriet's missions are way too long and involved. On the other hand, I once stumbled on a legendary bison, shot it a few times, and was done, which was a lot more pleasant. Having some actual missions is nice, but they're just way too long IMHO. e.g. for the Sapa Cougar, you have to find something like a dozen different signs and follow his trail several times before you finally find him, and for the Cross Fox (or whatever it's name is), you have to traipse all over the swamp with alligators everywhere. And most of the missions seem to be set up so that you have to chase the legendary animal at the end, which is a royal pain. It's all a bit much, I think.

It _really_ pissed me off dealing with the Sapa Cougar earlier today. For whatever reason, a poison arrow didn't kill it, and then shooting it a dozen or so times with express rifle bullets didn't kill it - and it was running all over the place, making it a royal pain to shoot. So, finally, I decided that I'd just use explosive ammo, since it just wouldn't go down - only to find out that unlike the legendary animals in story mode, you can actually destroy the pelts of a legendary animal online. After a couple of explosive ammo hits, the game declared the mission failed, because the pelt was too damaged. Man was I pissed. IMHO, if you ever have to shoot an animal more than two or three times, there's something seriously wrong. Bullet sponges are no fun, and this role seems to love bullet sponges (both with the legendary animals and with the sedation ammo in general).

Oh there's some new missions on her list? Not yet seen them but I'll keep an eye out for those.

Also yeah just stumbling across them randomly can be fun and joyful but when you're intentionally trying to find them it can quickly become frustrating.. Agreed on the missions though, they're a bit needlessly long and also repetitive, which is why I'd mentioned that they're stale already.

Hmmm. Maybe I misread. The patch notes list two new legendary animals: https://support.rockstargames.com/articles/360052358313/RDR2-Title-Update-1-20-Notes-PS4-Xbox-One-PC-Stadia

However, I think that when I read that, I assumed that missions for them were added. And maybe they were, but if so, I haven't seen them in the rotation yet, and the notes don't specifically say anything about missions, so I probably made a bad assumption. Either way, the "benefits" listed in-game talk about getting special versions of the clothes for those pelts if you sell them to Gus right now.

So, they definitely added more legendary animals, but I don't know whether they've added more Harriet missions yet or not.
