Cant start trader role because mission isnt showing up.

I cant start the first mission to become a trader because the mission never shows up. I have read the letter I have activated the camp and I dont know what else causes this mission to fail to show up. Does anyone know how to get this ♥♥♥♥ to work?

That may be the case but I have seen posts elsewhere about this issue none of which had any form of solution.

It's a glitch since last update. I did the introductory mission to the trader role but back then I had no gold on me, now I do I can't purchase the butcher table. I've read lot of comments on YouTube and some people on Reddit who have the same issue. Only Rockstar can fix this, as long as they listen to us who can't get into trading because they screwed it up when releasing Naturalist patch.

Made a ticket and waiting to hear back now..... I have the ability to start the collector mission. Does this interfere with my ability to start the trader mission?

I have sent a ticket as well. And the answer to your question is no, it does not. I acquired all the other roles for the time being while waiting for Rockstar to enable the trader rol again.

I figured out how to start the trader line if you have the letter and opened ti but didn't have the gold. check with scribbs at the camp and look under equipment, you can buy the butcher bench for 15 gold. this started the trader line and the first supply run quest. Hope this helps

I forgot to say that they had fixed this issue some months ago... at least for me. I appreciate your help anyway.

My Question: Did you buy the Butcher's table? I have a Level 11 Trader Business and I have not had any issues activating associated quests. But you have to have purchased the Butcher's table to be able to do the Trader quests.
