Empty Servers
Is anyone else struggling to play the game online? Every server is empty and I can never find anyone in matchmaking to complete any quests.

It's heaven to be alone in RDO. Just like Eve and Adam. Don't bite the apple.

Man, I envy you. I want to play this game solo..
But if it story mission, there is no one playing I guess (except for dailies)

Aye, it can be fun solo - though kinda game-breaking when matchmaking missions to progress can't be completed. Managed to find a group in the end after running down the matchmaking timer twice.

Game's not modded at all, and I would bite the apple.

Did you try to play/join to a friend? Maybe It would allow you to join others so that you can play story missions that way.

Was it an apple? I thought it was "the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil". My bad.

I have been playing RDO for a couple of weeks now and I have only encountered maybe 3 or 4 other players in the world, total, ever. Most sessions I don't see a single living soul.
I can normally match-make enough to complete a story mission, but always the match timer runs down and I have to complete the mission with >4 team.

My experience seems comical compared to the stories I hear about servers being overrun with "griefers". I am based in NZ so I guess the servers here are just not that populated, but it doesn't seem to make a difference as to what time of day or night / day of the week I play to try and catch the time zones of, say, Australia or China. I don't entirely mind, I'm a lone-wolf RP player anyway, but the whole point of online play is that added element of humanity isn't it? Is this normal for this region of the world (South Pacific)?

How does it work with the in-game events? Are all those players from your server or do they gather players together from different servers? I am always amazed at how all of a sudden there are 20+ individuals in the game where I haven't seen a soul for the three hours prior.

Do you have any mod installed? Any mod that you installed for singleplayer or something?

I would rather pay monthly fee to play along or friends only.
