Oh god... It makes me much more relieved.
If the menu is viewed for a small moment or if I browse the settings, it will freeze and crash shortly after getting to the menu screen.
Absolutely odd considering just 5 mins prior to these crashing issues, I was on the game in Story, noticed some graphical artifacts, saved and dropped my OC a few Mhz, and this started to occur.
Also unusual since prior to even getting on earlier today, the same crashing issues were occurring, yet after numerous tries, the game got started. IDK what the issue is, but the game is in no playable state atm.
I have a triple monitor setup, and with Eyefinity off, when I start the game, it tries to force Eyefinity, two side monitors immediately go black, lose signal, regain signal, then all three go black and lose signal, then I hear a choppy version of the opening scene sounds with the shotgun, then all screens flicker, then go black, then lose signal, etc, etc, etc. Basically, even trying to play the game gives my computer seizures.
Nice job Rockstar, quality QC.
This is exactly what happened to me lol. My monitor loses signal, and the sound of the shootgun is all stuck ...
Yep, at this point it's ridiculous that they didn't catch this.
Forgot to add that after I'm forced to kill the game via the task manager, it for some reason throws everything open on all three monitors back onto my middle monitor, any and all browser tabs, any other open programs; they all get thrown to the middle primary monitor.
What a waste of time.
Ever done any programming? No.
Thanks for the monitor info.
As for time, well that's relative.
PS: So many people's copy of the game is running fine (including mine), there are people online playing their asss off. I'm just wondering why some are and some arn't.
I actually have, but not heavy game programming, just Python for forensic applications.
Yep.
Time is relative, I was speaking to MY time, not yours.
Thanks for your input.
