will i get banned?

''congratulations you have been awarded RDO$1000 for participating in twitch prime promotions'' i don't even use twitch at all i don't know how that prime subscription works and i don't need nor ask for this muneh can i reject it somehow? should i say goodbye to my online character and go back to sp? i think i also have some ''rockstar benefit'' wich are tickets for 2000 xp for the new role is that from the twitch stuff too? or is it from the outlaw pass? it is the first outlaw pass that i have so i don't know the rewards but just in case i will not use none of this ''benefits''

Rockstar keeps suspending and banning random players for no reason while letting the griefers, modders, hackers stay in game, and ruin people's gaming experience all the time. I don't know what Rockstar's problem is, but there's something going on with this company.

When you have a problem, when you are banned or suspended for no reason, (probably by their broken automatic ban system or something) there's no customer support to talk to. You send a ticket, they send you a pre-written automatic message and your case is closed. You can't find a single soul to communicate. They don't reply. They don't talk. They don't listen. They don't answer your questions. They don't help you at all. That's a terrible customer care.

Also, I might understand suspension up to some point, if it's fair, but why delete the entire character and game progress? That's totally unfair. I paid for that game, I played it, put my time and effort in it, they shouldn't have the right to take that away from me especially for no clear, specific reason. When they suspend or ban you, they don't even tell you why. It's horrible. They deleted my rank 170 character. I effin felt like crying. And why? No answer.

This happened to me, last week. I was happily playing as I normally do everyday, and then I was suddenly suspended for 1 month. I sent many tickets. No answer, no explanation. When my suspension ends, I am afraid to start again, spend all that time to build the character again, build all those ranks and get suspended again.

And people are like "oh if you're banned / suspended you most certainly did something, look why am I not suspended? hehe"
Well, it's not like that. This is serious. This is happening, real. Rockstar is banning, suspending players randomly. It's crazy.

I had the same thing on log in. I'm not a part of twitch prime, but got the message and cash too.

all they can do is take it off your account the next time you have ehnuff money, if they ban you for this then i suggest to SUE them.
well i'm going to do that atleast, got this twich prime thing too and i don't have prime, i do em subbed to some twitch dude, it was gifted to me maybe that's why? i don't know.

You can't win the lawsuit. It is in the agreement that you sign. You have already lost. Pinkerton Security Agency (Protective services, Intelligence) tried suing Rockstar. Rockstar sued back and they withdrew. It was not even a settlement they just backed off. lol

trust me, if they ban you for there own mistake (you did not cheat it in they gave it to you eh) if you get punished for that, you win the law suit easy. you can't just ban someone for NO BLOODY REASON! oh an consumer law in my country is the one sue-ing R* then btw i don't see em lose, ask EA they ran into them already a few times.

They do not disclose reasons for a ban. People can only speculate. Like I said it is in the agreement, they have the best lawyers who write those. At no point in time can a player/user/purchase be right when they deal with a company like that.

The reason they never disclose why people get banned is exactly because they sometimes make mistakes and so as not to suffer the consequences they made themselves IMMUNE via the user agreement.

Rockstar has already won. You can't do anything.

Just because you want something to be one way, does not make it so.

You wouldn't know the reason you got banned. Would you go sue Rockstar just because you got banned without knowing why? But people like you are all talk.

Btw Consumer Law may be on thing. But Steam has its own rules and guidelines. And you seem to run out of arguments and started spouting rude things :).

you are just here to put a fear in people that's not even grounded, you twist the truth to fit your story. yes R* does not have to say why they banned you "you are right about that", on the other hand they can't just ban you for no reason, that's why in court they will ask the reason and if its BS then they need to restore your acc. R* can't and will NOT ignore a court order to reveal the reason.

I can confirm this too. My dad who has no clue about twitch received this $1,000 RDO and clearly has no twitch account nor has he done anything illegal at all. I was concerned he might get banned by their own mistake as well.

don't let the forum trolls tell you, he could be banned for it. at max they revert the "gift / rewards" but my bet is they just roll with it, what's 1k dollar for them and a few discounts.
and seeing they gave alot of peeps this, i don't see em ban all of us... imagine the media it will blow up there face so hard, RD3 would never be bought (if its made, you get the point)

LMAO. Looks like they handed Twitch Prime benefits to just about everyone. Honestly, I doubt it's any big deal. And Twitch Prime is free if you have Amazon Prime, but would still require you linking Amazon to Twitch, and Twitch to R*. Sounds like an error on R* part.

well thanks everyone so if i'm not the only one who got this twitch prime stuff by accident then hopefully nothing will happen... still it won't be surprising if i do get banned over this but anyway i'll try to get my achievement fast and just in case i won't use any of the ''rockstar benefits''
