Nope.

One of my biggest QoL gripes about this game.

I can't count the numer of times I hit a number to pull out a weapon I want, but it cycles to the next weapon in that 'slot'... nothing like trying to pull out your shotgun to kill a cougar rushing you and you get the varmint rifle instead.

At a higher level you can buy the 'gun storage' for your camp. Should be able to find out what level by accessing old grippers' menu in camp by pressing E near to him, or the wagon.

I killed a wolf with my varmint rifle on a Legendary bounty, it took a while.. (the wolf must be reeeally embarrassed, too)

I love using 8 sticks of dynamite before finally equipping my lasso. I accidentally killed 4 bounties thanks to this issue.. was funny to watch though.

This time around i'm not buying the varmint rifle or the bow, the only weapon I don't want to use is the cArBiNe rEpEaTeR 'coz it's just bad and it's there by default. The games never tries to equip that instead of the thing I want. I'm expanding my list of pistols/etc as the game never swaps them for something else, (except game modes that allow access to all of your weapons, because we all want to equip just 1 cattleman, don't we?) rifles - I have two, the worst is having no gun but that's better than the wrong one, right? :)

But a gun locker asap! Limited weapons but the ones you want.
