No fast travel ?

I hear in the reviews the game has no fast travel available which results in long tedious stretches of horse riding to get from point A to point B

Other than that it seems has very few flaws or minor

single player? online? they both have fast travel, i forget when it becomes available in single player, but every major location has a fast travel post. also you can eventually put one in your camp. angry joe should rename to misinformed joe. it does cost a bit of money, more the further away from where you currently are you want to go. so lets say you are at annisberg, the easternmost part of the map and want to travel to tumbleweed, it cost 12 bucks. but if you are in a camp in bayou nwa, and want to go to saint denis, its 1 buck. hope this info helps

Taken from IGN piece: "You cannot fast travel back to camp, or to other locations from your campsite as you could in the original Red Dead Redemption."

This was either changed later down the line (or it's PC version only), or everyone is just a complete idio* when it comes to "reviewers" (oh... ooooooh).

While entertaing, his reviews are not the best.

Was watching Angry Joe review and he said the game had no fast travel.

I remember once I played Skyrim with no fast-travel rule and I regretted it later, it became extremely tedious. But that was a rule of my own while the game supported fast travel.

I did the same and was reallty enjoyable. but also I had auto-walk, so it was really enjoying the scene.

ROFL. Ok. Dude says he watched the AJ review and he got the info there. People start talking about how AJ is not always right. I post links where it can be seen that everyone was saying the same thing, so it's clear it was like that, but it must have been changed down the line, but I don't know the details. And then you come in with AJ again, and not provide any other info.

You can ride trains from place to place, or grab a stagecoach, of course it will cost you money in the game but that is to be expected. Later in the game you can unlock fast travel from your camp.

You can fast travel anywhere you have been once you upgrade dutch's bed.
