No option to disable gore. If you are looking for that option this game is probably not for you.

I don't know if you can do much about the gore, there is just so much in this game not spoiling, but it's not only mature but disturbing and scary at times/places.

OP a little more context is needed. If you're a parent and want your children to play the game, that's your call, but there's mature content in it that can't be disabled. Personally I'd play it myself and then decide if the game is suitable.

Escaped monkeys aren't that impressive. You shoot them with tranquilizers and they go right to sleep. This game even teaches you how to do it ;)

Right click the game in your library, go to manage and click uninstall, that should remove the mature content.
