Constant thunder storm and no rain online

Hey guys,

been having a bizarre bug whilst playing online, not sure if it's in the single player I haven't played it. I have been experiencing an endless thunderstorm with lightning and thunder but no rain. I say endless, sometimes it does go but lots of the time there are clear skies but I still keep getting a constant thunderstorm. I haven't had any reason whatsoever either. I'm just wondering if anyone has this problem too? Thanks!

same but I think it's not a bug and it's simulating real weather collisions in South USA during this time. I might be wrong tho.

The weird storms are made by mod users.

There are cheaters online that are using a [Mod Menu] to mess with the weather.

Cheating is a big problem in this game. :/

I think it is a bug.
No way that every lobby I enter is having cheaters with weather mods on them in it.
Even when I enter a "solo" lobby, these things happen.

There is something changed in the weather mechanics with the last 2 updates which makes the paterns very strange and unrealistic.

Like thunder on a clear day, constant mist, or constant rain.
Night becomes day in a bright flash or day turns into night by just giving a black screen all of the sudden....

Read it well: I thus do NOT say that there are no cheaters with weather mods, and that this might not be the case in some cases, but that there is also a serious bug with the weather online.

I would agree with this. While i definitely see the thunderstorms that come and go, and players who transition through the lobby while chased by these menu induced tempests, the weather overall has changed. I've been in downpours that last forever game-time. Noah couldn't have done better. Lobbies seem more "Locked" into a particular weather pattern with much less natural transitioning lately. That and boatloads of fog.

haha yep guys it's the same here. Rain that hardly comes but when it does it never ends. I wonder if everyone on the server experiences this together?

Is happen to me too but sometimes clear sky with thunder or rain with storm. But i have tested with two computer so close with pc with my brother and i have a rain storm and my brother clear sky with thunder in same lobby and location.

Idk if is a mod or the mod still in the account lobby forever until you quit the game like certain cheats in gta need quit the game entirely for clear it but is weird too.

Yeah, I suspect it only takes a handful of mod users to quickly jump into a bunch of servers and wreck havoc with the weather.

How’s that Anti-Cheat coming Rockstar? Have ya started on it yet? O_o

I've been experiencing all of these problems - and in addition, across multiple servers, my weather is reliably not synced to other players in the session (playing with a friend and checking - utterly game breaking when we're out on a walk and one of us has foggy rain while the other has clear skies). I've also been in sessions where the opening / closing of shops (i.e. butchers) has been de-synced from the time of day, causing the butchers to close half way through the day and be open half the night. With people saying that modders have been causing problems I'm wondering if there are some sessions on particular servers in which the weather is corrupted.
