Legend of the West achievement
Do you need to study every animal or just discover them for your compendium by killing it?

If you open the compendium you can see a %, if noone else says otherwise I'm assuming all animals need to be 100%. You need to study them, kill them and maybe track them? I'm not sure on tracking them but if you open an animal's page in the compendium it says what you need to do for 100%. This is all just an assumption tho.

Um, if you mean the 'Best in the West' achievement, you only need to study 50 animals - see link for the complete list of tasks for the achievement at https://www.trueachievements.com/a262344/best-in-the-west-achievement
