https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2135334608

how did i encounter these aside from a hacker showing up and doing bad things?

IIRC, the two-headed skeleton is a prop in a circus freakshow lying in a cage in single player.

Hackers just applied the prop to an NPC enemy body to attack.

[Edit] Maybe you can encounter them in the single player story? The model must exist for a reason. o_O

i played through the entire single-player story-mode past epilogue and never saw them. i also got most of the steam achievements along the way so i would presume i'd have seen them in single-player if they were actually there somewhere...

maybe they are planning a single-player DLC like red dead redemption 1's DLC single-player expansion ("Undead Nightmare")... but i heard before that RDR2 will have absolutely no single-player DLCs... maybe that was wrong.

another thought i had was that maybe the models were in the code for some future planned Halloween event for online-mode? i would like to see them in online-mode again sometime, it was fun...

i also should mention that i have seen a naked lady NPC as well as an extremely obese overweight lady NPC with belly rolls sticking out from her gut (99.9% for sure spawned by hackers both)

yet i'd think that it is much easier to strip a model of it's colors/textures than to customize an avatar like this... makes me presume that RDR2 devs did it themselves rather than modders...

It's cheaters using mods to change themselves online.

Me and my posse ran into the naked lady too, Their name was just _HELLO_
Couldn't kill them or anything, They teleported to us went over to the rocks and started spawning a bunch of hookers in the middle of New Austin. I ended up tossing dynamite to blow up the things they were spawning in and they crashed my game in response.

they can crash people's games on purpose, especially when they use this new tool to be notified when you try to report them. they never seem to like that, heh...

but this particular hacker that spawned the 2-headed skeletons near me was talking and being somewhat entertaining or at least trying to be rather than instantly killing everyone repeatedly...
they did not offer any explanation about where the skeletons were from, but they let us play with them for awhile. this hacker himself was not disguising his character as an NPC skeleton body nor were the hackers that spawned the strange ladies. i've also been put in a metal cage and forced to fistfight NPC doppelgangers of myself like it was some kind of sick twisted arena lol

I was in an online session about a couple of weeks ago, by the church, at the abandoned town of Pleasance, at around 2:00 or 3:00 am game time. I was checking the inventory in my satchel, after just thinking how unnaturally quiet and spooky it was. When all of a sudden, four or five of those bastards popped out of the ground all around me, like something out of Jason and the Argonauts, and started kicking my ass. Fortunately, my navy revolvers easily turned those double skulls into dust clouds. And as much as I despise modders, and wish they all could be turned into dust clouds, it was a highly entertaining moment. They still need a slow painful death though.

i have seen them resurrect skinned animals too and they don't act like normal game animals they follow you. made me think it was a anti animal hunting statement or something.
