Perfect elk pelt
It seems I cannot sell donate or in any way use this pelt. What is it for? Is there any static storage for this kind of thing in the game?

You must be able to sell and/or donate it.
There must be something wrong there partner...

you can always drop it inside your camp and it'll be there when you come back. near the scouts campfire i believe. drop it go out and do something and come back, see if the problem doesn't clear up.
