How do I pack a warm coat on my horse?
I read a "guide" that said there's an option in the wardrobe menu where you normally select outfits to pack an outfit on your horse. All I see is an option to "save outfit" so I save one with a warm coat but when I get on my horse it's still not available.
Does anyone know how exactly to pack a warm coat on your horse so it's available when I go to higher altitudes?
I'm playing story mode on PC if that helps any.

Stand near your bed in the camp open the chest and select the premade winter coat and add to horse storage.
edit
I just remembered to see / access our horse's gear stored I had to leave the perimeter of the camp once outside that we can access it. A little annoying.
Maybe you already have it. Ride away from the area then check

You have to add an entire outfit with the winter coat. I have one with gloves, wool hat etc etc- Cold Gear

make a outfit one with coat one without. they should have treated them like hats though imo though there are only so many wheel slots.

Wait, you can do that?

I've just been telling my horse to stop being a ♥♥♥♥♥ this whole time.

depending on your saddle u can store more or less outfits, but even the most basic saddle can hold at least 3. When your designing your characters outfit you can back out and check it to see if its for hot, average, or cold. It is possible to make an average outfit that, when u remove your gloves will become a hot weather outfit. I find that saves space. Also be aware that if you are wearing a "cold weather hat" such as the raccoon hat or something - when it gets shot off you head it will change your outfits temp. I do not recommend using hats to keep warm as when they fall off u freeze. Best of luck.

For some reason I had to create TWO custom outfit slots before it would store a coat on one of them. Just saving one wasn't loading a coat onto my horse for some reason.
