Will Rockstar celebrate the 4th of July in game ?
This being a American Western and all I would think American flags and fireworks will be really cool next month but in the wake of Rockstars wokeness im wondering if this type of patriotism will be too controversial for R*

Probably not, the "PC" crowd will have a fit because it's not "all inclusive." You can pretty much hang up every American Holiday, see as how the Social Justice Warriors hate America. America is on the verge of a civil war judging from what people are saying on social media. This game celebrating any American Holiday just opens the doors for the crybabies to cry about something.

They celebrate 4th of July in GTAO, so I don't see why they wouldn't in this. :lunar2019piginablanket:

They did do it before so I don't see why not.

St.Denis should at least have a fancy Fireworks display for we Americans still in COVID-19 seclusion.

I'm not an American but I'd love to see fireworks or 4th of July shenanigans. Why don't people hate their home country as much as you do, O' America? lol.

I'm American and love my country. I'll always salute my flag on 2 feet.

It's a common misconception for outsiders to have - most of us don't hate our home country, we tend to like it very much, in varying degrees of course. Most of us know it's not perfect, either, but a lot of us try to do our little bit to make things better.

Remember, folks, what you see on Twitter isn't a broad reality, and doesn't always tell a whole truth.

I would love to see fireworks or whatever equivalent there was at the time.

Some people conflate dislike of the government for dislike of the country itself.

The 4th of July is to celebrate Independence Day, maybe , all Americans should re-visit the 1st Independence Day and what that was all about and why , to know where to go from here.

I can't imagine why not, it's an American game set in America. Independence day was celebrated then, so it would be realistic to have some form of celebration in game.

SJW will whine about it saying its a celebration of bad times in America, cant really be patriotic in these times.
BlazeD Jun 9, 2020 @ 11:30pm
I don't think R* is an american company and therefore won't be celebrating american independence.

Then think again... Headoffice in New York and the founder brothers, although brittish, are the biggest USA fans I know! That and they ALWAYS celebrate 4th july in GTAO!
