Propably all the people who bought it just for RDO.

Oh and don't forget about a huge number of Chinese accounts on Steam that bought the game with their accumulated Steam-Market money and are now spamming in all the RDO lobbies, if you know what i mean.

20% sounds pretty standard for many games, let alone for a game as massive as RDR2. It's only with short games (like Call of Duty; those campaigns are like 4-5 hours long) that you find completion rates around 50%.

That is also true.

kinda odd considering how there's not much to do in rdo
Got to 30% 3 times and restarted all the times, I just wanna be hot through out the entire story, not make months of pause before picking it up again, but I always felt a huge Lackluster effect due to the time cycle. Horrible trash decision that they surely made because they feared the game was "too slow" like chupa chups noobs \ NEOGAMERS cry the game is.

A game is not for all simple, development doesn't make a game for all because a game that works is not for all. THey had to put pedal to the metal there and they lacked to put a AT LEAST 7minutes = 1 h in game if not longer.

They lost me there.

Just as a info for you all that maybe don't read much on game dev and facts: Players do not go beyond 5-12% of completion of games. It's a fact.

Ask yourself why. Trash development is getting actually a trend.. and why? just check any game devs in general, it's all about COST CUTTING nowadays. Trash loot based casino experience is what all are "doing".. that's not even game development. It's just gamification pushed to extremes.

However I dnt wanna start a huge digression now. Enough is that 12% fact. you can check E3 2018 if u don't believe me... but that was already known in the past, it's not 2018 knowledge.

I won't complete this game on ps4 where I have it since a year if the day keeps fkn with my experience.. Time speed is HORRIBLE.. it cannibalizes everything.. It's disgusting they haven't addressed this ISSUE yet.

because open world games always have really low numbers of main quest finishers, and this game is a buggy mess that doesn't work for some and for a lot of people often crashes/crashed, which leads to abandoned games.
No it's not that. It s actually a good game, it's just that with any game they just don't get finished because people are not serious abt games, they are more serious to "show they have bought the last game out".. this is another fact. People are selfie dependant generally speaking.

The problem with hardware software is also a big mis understanding: people generally have zero understanding of how a PC works, and anyway with this game most ppl played it on console, not pc not on steam. Great part of the people owning a pc have no idea of compatibility of BIOS, what are drivers, how not to create a bottleneck, what is the quality of a DRAM and what brands are known to have incompatibility with each other.

95% of people doesn't hoover every 1-2 months the Case with care. (dust)
Most people have no ideas of what is case ventilation.

Now... all these cliché on developers fault is just BS that immature communities (more and more communities are made of violent ignorant people especially around gaming) is generally trash excuses.

The game works well, if there is anything wrong it can be servers, it can be that sometime you c rasah but if u crash or somebody crash every second that's a problem with you and your machine.

I'm so impressed by the story - I keep restarting over and over again. Still haven't finished the game... Mainly because it's so enjoyable, I'm not racing to the end but savoring the journey.

20% for a huge game like this isn't bad. :)

Same here and I would have played it twice plus RDO if only it had a time slider prolonging the time in game, the speed it has which is just game breaking in many parts of it... Realized I will just play it once...

Gotta take into account that gaming nowadays is what watching TV was back in the 80s-2000s for the major population. Just some toy/passtime. No passion for the medium.

It is... i have huge difficulty findin tactical players that can milsim and have real interest at sharing emotions and experiences.. most people play for money or for else.. it's ok... but not really.
gaming is sharing and building together. It's very sad what I see.
Fortunately there are exceptions but they are very rare...
