How do I get my trader level up?

I don't even know what the trader level is and how I do it? But i wanna get the moonshinning business.

Trader role is from your camp, give Cripps skins/carcasses/anything he will take, he turns them into stock which you deliver and level up by trading.

Carcasses will give you more materials than skins. Better quality will also give more materials. White tail bucks will give the most.

Best place to hunt in my experience is the Greater Plains. Try getting 3-Star carcasses, not just their skins.

To get a 3-Star kill, first aim your weapon at an animal and then look at the bottom right side of your screen; It'll display the animal's star value (1, 2, or 3). Use a Bolt Action Rifle and aim for the animal's head.

Focus on hunting Pronghorns, White Tail Bucks, and the occasional Bison (3-Star pelts are pretty good). 3-Star Cougars are worth A LOT if you can find them.

For more XP, always accept Resupply Missions (never buy the supplies) and only make deliveries once you're delivery wagon is full.

I'm a big chicken, so I only made local deliverers. XD
I believe you make more XP if you risk longer deliveries. (Just watch out for hostile players!)

Fasting way to level up trader is by doing sell missions with 1 good. You get the same experience whether you sell 1 good, or 100 goods.

If you want to check your level press esc, then progress, then roles.

Logic says that a bigger, entire animal carcass donated is more xp but thats not the case.

When donated:

Feathers = 5xp each

Deer = 5xp

Can carry multiple 10 stacks of different feathers vs carrying 1 deer + 2 smaller kills on horse

(Mind you you should do all of the above per hunting trip)

So animals to fill your bar, feathers if you're aiming for xp.

And imo nothing is more fun than a varmint rifle and a group of birds.

quickest way is just doing short trips of 1 product amount, you get 200 XP everytime you can get level 5 in no time

Yeah no matter what you donate it's always 5 exp per item. If you deliver 1 goods you get 200 exp. If you deliver 100 goods you still get 200 exp. So what I did was do a lot of local deliveries with only 1 good over and over until I maxed out then focus on the rest.

Also, buy the medium wagon ASAP then the large wagon ASAP. A full small wagon gives you like what? 50 dollars for local delivery? That's 25 goods for 50 bucks. But a large wagon gives you $500 for a local delivery and 625 for a long distance. So you deliver 4x the amount at once but get 10x the money.
