Anyone else a bit disappointed by the PC port for RDR2 overall?

Namely:

The poor optimization - The fact that I had to use an optimization guide and a hodge podge of settings to run this game acceptably at 2560x1440 on a 1080Ti and 8700k rig seems a bit odd to me

The very poor state of RDO - which seems to be overrun by hackers and feels empty and lifeless

The complete lack of modding more than 6 months later - Aside from some trainers and save files, there really isn't anything else there. And upon trying to use Vortex Mod Manager with the few tempting mods that exist, it seems finicky at best.

Overall I feel like the PC port has not lived up to my expectations, while it is not terrible or bad and I've still been able to enjoy it somewhat, it wasn't a defining experience like I expected it to be on PC

I have not had any issues with it in my time playing. Optimization is fine to me.

I don't care about mods or online, so neither of those are applicable to me.

I haven't even touched online and have no plans to.

By any reasonable standard it's not even a matter of opinion. It's a bad port, at least when it comes to the UI and keyboard and mouse controls. It's manageable, but still really bad, especially online.

Optimization is good, but the interface sucks and feels clunky.

I’m personally not seeing any problems with the optimization.

I’m just disappointed that they didn’t release the game with text chat. There’s no communication online, the world feels lifeless.

Edit: The rampant cheating is kind of a drag too. @_@

Optimalization is decent i hadnt any issue there but this shouldnt be something to praise but normal UI is for PC really bad slow to navigate and unintuitive to use fast with mouse and keyboard

This is nothing compared to games like Insurgency: Sandstorm.

But yeah, I did expect better from a billion-dollar company.
