"Pay-to-Win" reached its Peak
As the Title says, with the online mode Pay to Win reached its Peak. Griefers just spent 50$ on virtual currency, buy the "best" equipment you can have, and keep annoying People.
If you want to defend yourself, you have to spent Money aswell. Otherwise you waste ca. 30-50 Hours of your life punching and cutting People down and steal their Money - or ride 5 to 10 Minutes to the next Mission.

Another Point: Everything costs way more than it does in Singleplayer. I mean, 100$ for a Coat? Gucci doesn't exist yet. So what is this?

And 100$ for a Card that makes your dead eye last a bit longer?

The only thing that I can understand is the Price for Guns, but everything else is just.... awful.

Change my Mind.

Be a collector , you wont worry about $ ever again. this week 4 collections get a +50%.
RobertW May 27, 2020 @ 3:53am
Yes, most prices are faar from beeing real, but its for game balancing - Rockstar want that we will grind for it. Nobody would go for a bounty against 10 bandits for 10$ when a piece of raw meat costs 4$...

No, you dont have to spent real money to protect you, its doesnt even work - u need xp and level for it. A good protection u get from fire or explosive ammunition - they are very powerful and griefer cant use them anytime, because of there high costs. The best defence against griefer is to play as a team together. No griefer would ever attacking a posse of 4 players. When I m solo and I get attacked by a griefer, I just fight and then I go to negotiation, where u are 10 minutes absolutly free. When they lasso u (what most griefers just wanna do) - just put out your knife and cut u free. They cant steal u anything, so its just annoying, but not game breaking as many are writing. Just fight back and then just go away or spawn in a new game. And please remember, if u have more (normal) friends, the chances are higher they will spawn on your map or u on there map. So anyway, chances without friends are much higher to meet a griefer as when u have 20 friends online...

Get a massive stack of gold bars. Buy everything in game.

Uninstall because it's now boring.

Games require something to work/grind for, to have it all for free is pointless.

Low levels being weak isn't specific to this game...

That's why Online mode flopped...
I have stopped to play online when I saw players kill me with explosive bullets and I could do nothing.
It's all about grinding, farming, microtransactions... You also have to think about to reload your weapons otherwise you could start a match with empty slots and you can't play if you don't have money to buy bullets. Tell me, could there be any more stupid?
Is it a free to play or a full game?

I don't think you talked about the worst: if you want to play "new free contents", like roles, you have to spend 15 gold bars for each role.
Do you want to continue story mode? Other 5 gold bars.

Of course everyone can say: you can earn them playing (0,20 each match if I'm right).
Too bad it's matchmaking doesn't work and you have to play on free mode alone doing copied and pasted mission from strangers or replay story missions, and free mode is unplayable cause of hackers.

The only solution is to buy them: 15*3+5 = 50 Gold bars, 20€.

20€... When the game costs 60€.

I got loads of moneys, loads of gold.
Sell herb and meat, get a job...
Zalzany May 27, 2020 @ 4:46am
Its not even that hard to make money or gold minus the first few days. Also why are you pvping right out the gate? I have only been attacked one freaking time unprovoked in 50+ hours of playing this game online. It even has a parley option making you invisible to people who killed you lol

I mean hell I got a pal who only has basic edition I bought for him and he is freaking crazy dangours just with his cheap ass bolt action rifle, and his starter pistol. Why he is good shot and played tons of pvp. I mean I haven't seen real p2w guns at all a headshot with a starter pistol is as deadly as shotgun blast with explosive rounds. Same with a buckshot round vrs the explosive they both kill about equally especially if your new and got less hp.

What is difference if one grinded the explosive round or one have bought it? Nothing. The low level die too like in gta online.

I don't play GTA Online. I didn't want another GTA Online.
The first RDR was different: You could play against LV 50 players but if you was skilled you had the same possibilities to win.
On RDR2 you can only die and if you haven't grind money before to start a match, you can't reload your weapons either.

You still can I had some one snipe me with iron sights while I used a rolling block rifle I got with gold from doing my daily challanges lol.

Trust me in RDR2 you can die no matter how much you grinded money. If you have skill like you claim you can do it. But instead your new to the game not very good so blame p2w like a scrub when most the people killing worked for that money and gold. I mean jesus the pvp matches are the worst ways to make money in game, no one grinded for their weapons doing that, even in RDR you did free roam stuff and looted good guns from bandits and what not before you did pvp lol

If I didn't take pots into an instance in WoW, I wouldn't have any, what exactly is your point?
Zalzany May 27, 2020 @ 5:00am
You still need ammo in RDR to reload. I don't get what this is about... You are so basic you didn't even buy ammo and just dove right into pvp matches? In any game like this its gonna be a bad time lol

I'm against grinding, that's my point and don't change what I wrote to make pointless my sentences

You need money from free mode to get ammo, without money you can't reload weapon and play even if you want to play PVP.
Do you like grind before to play? Good for you. I don't like to waste my time like i'm playing a stupid free to play. I spent 60€, I think every player must start from the same point when a match starts.

Well you bought the wrong game. Free roam is the corner stone of all rockstar online experinces even Red Dead Redemption one had this feature as its main bit. Its like playing Call of Duty and complaining there is no free roam PVE activities...
Blackbeard_teach May 27, 2020 @ 5:11am
after 4 months and 400$, i managed to be on the TOP, as in no lvl 400 can beat me even if i am lvl 130

'grinding' money for bullets? Get a refund now, this game (or pretty much any game) is not for you.

You have this to look forward to:
grinding money
grinding gold
grinding bullets
grinding collectables
grinding skins
grinding herbs
grinding cooking (it's slow and repetitive)
grinding achievements
levelling your rank
levelling your roles
etc
etc

QQ Oh man, the hard west is hard af QQ

I see, many People are shared about this (and wow I never had such a long discussion on Steam thx).

The main thing is, too many activities in Red Dead Online cost Money. Whatever you want to do (except for Hunting, Stealing, and the mostly not working matchmaking) you have to pay for it.
There is only 3 things you have to pay for, bounty hunting, trading, collecting (I paid zero gold not sure why on my account for that) and moonshining is like an advanced trading bit that requires you to be level 5 trader to begin with.

You get gold for pretty much every single thing in game, minus hunting. You did a story mission in free roam here is some gold nuggets that add up, oh today you got a daily for looting some wild mint here is some more gold nuggets. Oh look you got a treasure map off a bandit, here is some more gold.

Trust me most players will farm the gold its not even that hard I was at zero at start of yesterday by end I was at 5 bars. How i did some missions, treasure maps and as many dailies as i could do. Once you get some things unlocked like bounty hunting you get gold for every bounty you turn in for example. I believe you also get a little for finishing trader/moonshine runs. I mean the only things I seen char wise that need gold is cosmetics. I mean you can use gold to buy a thing early, but its either so cheap you can do it from normal grind or so bad you got be crazy to spend real money to buy it.

Like I got a beagle when they were on sale 4 bars of gold. I can do that in a day, so got it instead of paying cash. But I want a hunting cart right now, and its worth more then 10 bucks in real life money if I buy the gold for it, hell no, I am just grinding the 875 dollars I need instead.
