You still will have a different launcher. Steam version uses the launcher also.
Rockstar pay 0% on their own launcher.

Problem solved.
i have RDR2 on rockstar too btw, and i have gta v on steam, and on the rockstar launcher, i don't have to buy gta v, the sign say "play on steam". so i think if you buy RDR2 on steam you don't have to buy again the rockstar version, but if you have the rockstar version you have to buy again the steam version.. anyway so sorry for my confusing reply.
