you can't rope players in defence mode, so if someone ropes you its kinda your own fault no?

You already can if they have a player bounty. They can give up to not wait to be delivered (will still be put in jail though), but the BHer can still turn in the person for the bounty.

can you please explain how to even start a player bounty??? i could never figure it out even though i unlocked them through the bounty hunter role apparently.

you get the option when a player with high amount of bounty on them, usually when you have around 15-20 dollars on your head, then other players near you can start one up.

hilarious. that just never happens because players always pay off their bounties before they get over $10 to avoid NPC bounty hunters following them everywhere... this mechanic probably deserves a slight rework...
