Character stuck jittering in place

In the online game, is anyone else's character becoming immobilized, and just standing there jittering, like a kind of rapid shuddering motion in place. In the last couple of hours, my character has repeatedly gotten stuck like this, leaving me no other option but to quit the game each time. It can happen in camp, riding my horse down a trail, or immediately after fast traveling to another town. I can't tell if it's this damn game, or the work of some hacker, who needs to be located, and skinned alive. Whatever the case, the game is unplayable when this mess is going on. Anybody have any ideas?

Only time that happened to me was due to a player using a mod menu. When it happens I usually get telported, blown up while I jitter in place.

I know what you are talking about, and yes, it's exactly like that jitter, but I'm not getting teleported and blown up. It looks like someone's trying to hack my character, but something's preventing them. If that's possible. Unless that's what they're trying to make my character do. That's why I was wondering if it could be a hacker. Oh well, thanks

That's right, if your character starts jittering, someone is using mod menu
in your session but somehow it failed on you, and still probably succeed on others.
Next time you can check the player list while your character jittering,
you'll see other players start to log off, they know someone is trolling the session now.
I've seen it many times.

Happened to me. I Alt-Tabbed to Discord and then back to Red Dead, so I figured something glitched out in that process.
Managed to 'fix' the issue by turning my mouse off, and then on again.
