What is the profit of stealing some trade items from another players?
Sometimes it does just appear on my map a player carries trade items. But what is the profit of stealing them? I just stole 3 times and completed to delivery, there is no money rewards, and says " ... items added " in the end mission title but there is no items in my camp.So what is the profit realy?

amazing! I am happy you enjoyed this game mechanic, That is what I am talking about when I say that it is fun! And gaining products and money is not the main goal, like you said, Most important thing is to have fun and enjoy it. Glad you liked it :), have fun!

Fun is everything, if I'm smiling when I close the game it did its job.

I just cannot understand those who play online shooters while hating PVP and PVPers. i read a study once about people who fear competition and other forms of confrontation that carry a risk of them coming out second best, it was a long time ago and i don't recall all the points it made, however in a nutshell it said something about low levels of testosterone and the lack of suitable male role models when growing up.

Did you mean to say presence? Sounds like you're too triggered to communicate.

That's exactly what I was talking about. Empahasis on "competition" and "coming out second best".

I am really happy you love this game! And you have lots of fun playing online. Me too! You really cannot imagine through how many different encounters like you've described above I've been through. That is why I love this "Stealing Delivery" mechanic and open world nature of PvP. And even though Stealing Deliveries is profitable because you get 10 goos per bag for far delivery even if the player is carrying 20 goods in total you will still get 40 goods. But main thing here is fun. I of course do it for the thrill.

PvP often keeps games alive far longer even without any new content.

Regarding the stealing deliveries part, I myself have a question: As you know this game is Open PvP which means anyone can be attacked in game almost at any time, even without a good reason. The question, if Long Trade Deliveries are the intended PvP deliveries why can we still attack and destroy short distance and moonshiner deliveries? It is not encourage by the game but it is also not punished or these players are not given an immunity from PvP.

Makes me think like Rockstar wants every delivery and everything to be potentially PvP even if not as reward. Maybe for survival factor? This game is a bit of a survival too
i agree that random attacks on players outside of any existing pvp mechanics needs to be looked at, they should make the penalty far more meaningful in my opinion.

For example if an attacked player reports the attack to a sheriffs office then the attacker should be unable to use any traders or other in town facilities for at least a few hours. Also there should be much better and more determined posses that relentlessly hunt and kill any players who randomly attack other players.

Something like EVE online's pvp system would be great, where some parts of the map are safe zones, heavily policed by AI and where transgressors are ruthlessly punished (for noobs and carebears in general to play in peace), other parts are lawless zones where anything and everything goes (where pvp-ers can get stuck in) with no posse's and no punishment, and everywhere else is a kind of middle ground.

Personally I'm looking forward to modded private roleplay servers where people can play how they want.

@ Saxon

I like the game as is. I don't want any more penalty. It is fun to engage in a delivery hijack even if the game is not telling you to. It always leads to fun pvp gameplay. Much more meaningful than random pvp to me.
Me too, look, there are days when I attack every single blue dot I encounter, most of them seem to take it the right way and join in the fun, most of my friends in that game i met through PvP encounters, some however clearly resent it. All I'm saying is they could make things a bit more interesting for us while allowing those with fragile temperaments to hunt bunny wabbits in peace.

Bunny wabbits/Level 10 noobs. Same thing. ZIQ approves of this. :47_thumb_up:

the moral of this story is that destroying wagons during PvP is entirely fair game. it would not be possible and encouraged otherwise.

the same people that are destroying wagons in PvP have the same problems of needing to defend their own wagons from PvP when they do that stuff. fair.

Sometimes i just go online for collectible, i saw 3 players killing somebody many times, follow the gun shots and what i see: A 3 man posse all 100+ levels attacking a level 15 solo player with the small wagon, but they dont want the wagon, they just keep killing the guy when he gets close.
I ran to help, but as soon as i start to shoot, the level 15 guy disconects.

This is PVP? If this happens to all 15 level players, at least 50% will drop the game. If no one plays, R* will not make more money, no money = no dlc.
Even they know that, seeing that you keep the wagon goods if you disconect.

players should not be running solo deliveries or trying to 1v3 players, no, this is not regular PvP in RDR2. usually the teams are fair or it is just a simple 1v1 scenario. 1v1 is the most fun in my opinion.

and my reason for saying players should not run solo deliveries is because if they invite friends to be bodyguards for delivery mission, their bodyguards will make extra free money and host will lose nothing.

Yeap, fair game is okay, but attacking a noob (for who the few more dollars from long sells make diference) its just sad.
Some people dont have mics, or friends. They should be able to play as well.

some ppl don't have mics you're right, and i hate to admit this but i was one of those players until i realize, HAVING A MICROPHONE IS A FUNDAMENTAL PART OF THE ONLINE-MODE, and i bought one and the game has been wayy funner ever since, especially since i often play online with friends that i know in real life.

tl;dr: get a microphone, folks.
dean moriarty the third 26 ABR 2020 a las 10:57 a. m.
microphone is just another expected investment for this game, like you are expected to buy a gamepad controller so that you can use RDR2's auto-aim feature. buying a microphone is expected as well.
