Blessed are the Peacemakers mission bugged... (SOLVED)

The mission "Blessed are the Peacemakers" is broken and won't let me progress past the scene where Arthur cauterizes his own wound. I can stealth kill the first guy and leave the basement, but when I leave the basement the bad guys don't see me even if I jump around in front of them. I even dropped a stick of dynamite in front of one of them and blew us both up with all his buddies watching... nothing, I can even stealth kill them while they are looking directly at me. I can gather my weapons, get on my horse and ride all the way to camp. I know that Arthur is supposed to pass out and wake up in camp, but he just doesn't. I can't progress beyond this point.

I'm playing the Steam version on an AMD R5 2600 with 32gb Ram and an RX 580 8gb.

Hmm, I've never had issues with that one, but I am experiencing a similar bug that's keeping me from progressing as well. The Jim Boy Calloway side missions, (SPOILER ALERT) when I go see the loud-mouthed "gunfighter" working in pig crap, I clean up the pig pen for him and get through that first bit of dialogue right up until I toss a stick of dynamite into the pile, as soon as it explodes, you hear it happen but the game freezes before you see any kind of damage, and I can hear everything that's supposed to be going on, then it all goes black and crashes. I do believe I need a fresh upgrade to my system is all.

Morning all. After a whole bunch of troubleshooting I finally gave up for the night last night and went to bed. After the morning coffee was drank I decided to get back to it and try again...

Seems a simple restart was all that was needed, I shut my PC down every night so's it's all I can think of that's different from yesterday.

Reupping this because I just played this portion of the game.

On PC you need to tap the Left Mouse Button. The game is absolutely not clear that you need to do this. I found the answer on another thread.

im stuck on the part where arthur gets on the hill... and just does.. nothing (unable to zoom in on binoculars) he just sits there and micah and dutch just do nothing

Not sure what to say; except that some games just start having odd issues sometimes after being ran for MANY hours on-end. It can be helpful to restart the game or even your PC every few errors IF you start to see such problems occurring. Obviously no need to do so unless there are visible signs of issues.

Im probably late to ze party but skipping the cutscene fixes it

If you are having issues with the game crashing when the game is entering or exiting out of a cut-scene; try enable the in-game VSync. It does help with this.
