Hot coffee mod gone cold

Hi thought this would be a fun mod to add a little spice to the game, is this no longer available, heard there was quite a bit of debate about it,
Mind you far worse in GTA without all the fuss.
so its banned now? and please no moralist church bashers telling me what a wicked man i am, its only a mod

Hey, Cant you buy coffee or loot coffee then make a coffee if you have the perculator on the fire?
I guess this is online play?

No I completed KCD back a while really miss it. Now completed RDR2
Thank god for GH co op to mess with my friends now.

Yep Rockstar 'banned' it and forced the author to remove it. I'm sure if you ask somewhere someone could give it to you.

The reason for Rockstar's strict course of action in this regard is because of what happened with the original Hot Coffee mod for GTA San Andreas back in 2005.

It was because the attorney Jack Thompson went on a crusade against Grand Theft Auto in general, and the appearance of this sleazy mod helped him a lot in the prudish USA.

they removed the mod? oh no dude, which one, the one where you shake down the guy for the loneshark because he didn't pay what he owed on time? or the one where you shoot that guy? what horrible and reprehensible thing was done that they removed it?

RS could actually now be what that Clash song of yesteryear wrote about - "Total Control." Take 2 is currently slapping lawsuits on modders for GTA 5 that they don't approve of, too. Used to be they posted a "cease and desist" first, but no longer. "Hot Coffee" came down as the Take 2 lawyers went after the modder's family.

Yeah the lawsuits were a mess back then and Rockstar ended up having to pay like 20 million dollar or something like that for a class action lawsuit. There was a lot of backlash from politicians and whatnot etc. It was a bit different for SA since the sex minigame from the hot coffee mod was actually already in the game but just disabled and the mod just gave access to the minigame. The RDR2 hot coffee mod also only used existing ingame assets and animations but the minigame itself wasn't originally present in like that in the gamefiles. But regardless, it's against the user conduct and Rockstar probably just takes no chances and doesn't want to risk another hot coffee controversy again.
