I just can't find a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Moose.

I went to all across Roanoke and nothing. Any places you people know where they almost always spawn?

They spawn in the northern parts of the map (most frequently next to lakes), but they spawn rarely.

They spawn in the far northeast by the falls north of Annesburg, Tall Trees by the lake, once in a great while in Cumberland forest (killed two there), and the Lake Isabella area and roads leading north and south of the lake.

If you get near these areas, try dropping some Potent Herbivore Bait, wait and see what comes along.

When I had my camp set to spawn up in the Grizzlies, every time my camp was in the north end of the Wapiti Indian Reservation, if I was there from midnight to dawn, every so often during the night, I would run over to the road (the one that leads down to the lake) and at the top of the hill, look straight down the road to this big boulder at the water's edge. Almost every night at some point, a moose (like 90% of the time, 3 stars) will be right next to it. At times it's been a grizzly bear. And EVERY time, quietly walk about halfway down the road with rifle in hand. There's a point where you trigger the moose to move. It will face south and walk in front of the boulder. Shoot it then before it gets to the water. Yeah, it's boring, but I've bagged like twenty of them right there. It's the same movement every time.

Thank you both, I went north to the loft north of O'Creagh's run, will rest there and walk a bit, the good part though is that I was attacked by two cougars, the cats, not the older women, and I was looking for their skin. I'll check those two positions, I'm very near those areas.

Also, on a side note I think its kind of awesome how were describe places like well real places, I know it's odd to explain, but most games you actually need to provide coordinates, in this, just the names and description is enough.

There's a ranch up there and a lot of flat land and some creeks. Nazar spawns there sometimes in online. Sorry I don't know off the top of my head but moose are there all the time. If I can find this thread later I'll come back and tell you. Someone will probably know the area I'm describing.

so, im past donner falls on my way to wapiti, i found a shanty, near some place with a lot of flowers, I decided to take one of the corpses for a walk, turns out they really attract bears.

Still havent found it, I'm beginning to feel my moose is called Gavin or maybe Godot. Anyway, found some beaufiful american paints, some overos and tobianos north of owanjila following the river.

Found it. It wasn't easy, the bastard's appearance is more rare than other animals. But finally I can move forward the camp decoration.

I saved my game at O Creagh's run and just kept reloading until I saw the bull moose appear upon load in. The moose will spawn close to the cabin... if horses or elk spawn, keep reloading the game as they spawn in place of the moose... it's annoying RNG.
