Rockstar games launcher exited unexpectedly

Guys I have the game since launch and it used to work fine. Now, after a month without playing it, it doesn't work. I get the r* games launcher exited unexpectedly.


I tried reinstalling
Turning Antivirus and firewall off.
Bios is updated
Windows is updated
Graphic card is updated

Can someone help me ?

roll with the punches, RockStar or BUGstar like some call them... at this point is a crapshoot if your going to be able to play or not.
i suggest, keep trying it will magicly fix it self "trust me" and will magicly return some day or next day... amazing how buggstar codes there games / launchers.

PS: i'm sorry for your troubles, but no real 100% fix out there i'm afraid.

Disable integrated graphic card, boah. This thing began last week with the last update, there are various threads on these ♥♥♥♥.

START > Control Panel > System > Device Manager > Display Adapters. Right click on the listed display (common is the intel or AMD integrated graphics accelerator) and select DISABLE. Do not select uninstall as this may cause further problems.

interesting, i have this error from time 2 time, i don't have any integrated graphic card ... so what's my problem then? boah.

I have had the unexpected error from time 2 time too, cowpoke, but aint talkin bout that.

Everyone knows this game is bugged but since last update, it has become unplayable for some peeps, me included. One thing is gettin unexpected errors and other is being unable to launch the game, wot i think is Dankkan problem. Take a look on last week threads and u'll gonna see what i'm talking about.

Anyway, since i disabled iGPU and switched to Vulkan API instead of DirectX, i have had no more unexpected errors, crashes or whateva.

Installed game today for first time, updated graphics drivers (AMD) to latest, repeated fail to load RD2 (unexpected crash). Followed instructions to disable onboard graphics card (Intel HD4600) and launched first time...

fyi: I don't login to my PC as admin so to disable in device manager you need to run a command prompt as admin (search CMD, run as admin), then type devmgmt.msc to start device manager from the admin command prompt.

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately I don't have any other device installed, just my Graphic card. I'll keep trying
