RTX 2070 Super good enough for stable 60FPS in 1080p?
Would appreciate it if anyone knows, Full specs are RTX 2070 Super, 16GB of DDR4 Ram, and an I7-9700K

I have very similar spec, 32 GB of ram. Running well over 100 fps constantly.

That depends on the graphics settings you're aiming for.
If you want to absolutely max out every setting you then you'll get less than 60 on average

Not true. I have that same card and I have everything maxed and it stays over 60. (same everything else as well)

This is essentially my build. Yes it crushes the game on pretty much 100% max settings. Over 60 fps.

I got around 50-60 with that same card and 32 ram...
But I got everything set on ultra.

Playing with the settings (since probably a lot is not even needed at ultra) will make your GPU sing like angels and your game look like western heaven!

Confirm that the RTX 2070 SUPER is good. Own one, run it, works great.

I have a 2070 super with those specs and have zero problem running the game on highest settings maintaining a high frame rate.

OP more than enough. While on the topic...look I dont want to sound elitist, I know 1080p is the "dominant resolution" among gamers. And while I game at 1440p I want to be clear that this isnt a resolution thing. But when I see specs like those I make it clear that users are wasting their dollars because they arent getting the most out of their hardware that they paid for. To be paying for these kinds of components and limiting your hardware to a low ceiling that it is capable of going far beyond on a wider spectrum is not wise. To see that you spent a nice size budget on your hardware makes me wonder why you would be gaming on a 60hz panel. You have overspent on hardware that you will never get the most out of in terms of gaming.

If you plan on upgrading your rig, you should really put a HRR monitor on the top of the list that way your hardware can finally stretch its legs. Right now a gamer with an RX580 or GTX 1060 and an equivalent CPU playing at 1080p is matching your specs (in 90ish% of games) and they paid far less. It would seem like price should be no obstacle for you to get a better monitor. So I just have to ask, why havent you done this yet? These things blow my mind, we as PC gamers should be wise with our hardware and software purchases.

Yeah, some of us are operating on a budget and will get around to upgrading things like monitors while getting hardware that will play most games for the next 4-5 years.

So stop paying for hardware that you cant get the most out of until then. if you spent $849-750 on a CPU and GPU like the OP did then I have to ask what kind of "budget" you are talking about. Surely there is plenty of room for a monitor upgrade. Its negligence on the users end. Freesync monitors start at $150-200 *facepalm*

BTW Tchuvan, wait 4-5 years? You do know next gen consoles will be hitting 120 FPS in games? So get ahead of the times or get left behind? Please tell me the logic in that?

I have a 1080 HR 144Hz Monitor. and I am definitely happy with it right now. I was tired of not being able to run games I enjoyed that well, and now i can upgrade the monitor at a later date
