How to smoke Cigars and Cigarettes for more than a puff~
Just equip an Emote!

Turns out in order to smoke a Cigar or Cigarette for more than a single hit before throwing it out, (when you go into your inventory to smoke one or the other, its a one time use) However, going to your Emote menu and Equipping that emote to your character, they will take multiple hits of the item and remain in animation!

I noticed quite a few people mentioning this being an issue. I hope this helps =]

i already have emotes equipped.... your instructions are very unclear, i must say...

So for controller, when you bring up your Emote Menu, there is an Action section. Open that up and find all the emotes you have unlocked and find the one your looking for.

Not sure how that was unclear. maybe a comprehension thing.

Hey, so in order to "extend" the duration of an emote simply pick the emote you want to use and hold in the button to use it, and keep holding it in. That's it. I use pc but im sure it works the same for controller. Hope this works for you :P

You can install a Mod called "Smoking Complete" (available at Nexus Mods) it will allow Arthur to smoke longer and during activities.
