Bounty poster bug?

I see the icon for the bounty poster on my map, so I go to the sheriffs station to start the mission. The sheriff and deputy are telling me to look at the poster, and I can interact by “inspecting” the poster, but the poster is invisible and it doesn’t actually trigger the mission. Arthur just reads the invisible poster and puts it back but nothing happens.

At first I figured it was a rendering issue but it happens even after everything in the town has loaded. I have tried restarting my game and I’ve had this problem in all of the towns I’ve discovered so far. And if it was a rendering issue I probably wouldn’t be able to interact with it at all.

Has anyone else had this issue, and does anyone know how to fix it?

Just one of the many bugs in this game..... You have to restart the game.

Have you tried verifying game files? Ideally do it with the Rockstar launcher.

I’ve done that multiple times with no success.

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried it but it still didn’t fix the issue.
I’ve submitted a support ticket instead.

Finally ı solved. İf you can use save editor you can select inventory item counts. Remove the some posters from your satchel.

HI i have the same problem but when i use the save editor there are no posters in my satchel. pls help

I have the 5 posters but i don't know how to remove the posters from the inventory. I have an option of "use" but nothing happens. any info on how i can remove them?

First off... I feel like there ought to be a fix that doesn't involve installing a mod. But second, when I installed the mod (Red Dead Redemption 2 save editor), all the mod did was said "You need to install version 3" which it proceeded to try and fail to do.
