Poor Hair Graphics

Playing on Ultra/High settings for everything. There a fix for it?

Edit: Turned on MSAA and the hair looks a lot better

Check the advanced settings in graphics where it shows adjust the fur and hair. Ultra may not give you HD 4K if your gpu cant support it .

Turns out I had Res Scale off, must of did that by default what should I put it at?

otherwise I have TAA on High, FXAA is On and MSAA is off

putt taa on medium with full slider sharpening and turn off fxaa

Lol if you say so. Even compared to a 1080 Ti it isn't a bad card, but no a normal 1080 isn't better. It's not far behind, but it's not better.

Not the hair on Arthur I'm worried about it's everyone else's. I finally made this post when I saw the lion and was like what the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with it's hair. Like peoples looked bad, but it was tolerable. Then I saw the Lions and was like ok yeah I need to find a fix.

MSAA is hugely taxing and you definitely dont need 3 types of AA on at the same time. Try what I said and turn off FXAA and turn TAA down to medium. FXAA and TAA blur things and smear them. Also make sure fur quality is set to high.

Yeah I'm going to when I get home I was looking around and it looks like it's a common issue with the game. I found one that said what you said plus turning on res scaling to like 1.25 or higher and it fixed it so I'm going to try that when I get home from work.
