RDR Online- No other players, no matchmaking, nothing.

Recently started online, and every single time I play my lobby is empty and matchmaking always starts a 1/4 lobby no one ever joins. Recently played gta online on this account just fine. Any fix?

They are out there in freeroam, just spread out.
I think GTAO has more people overall than RDO. Main reason being in RDO you have no fast cars or air vehicles to get around in. Getting around takes time and some people just don't have the patience for it I'm guessing.

Consider yourself lucky! Most of the time the only other players around are killing NPCs for their own sick amusement and in the process shutting down a town and getting you shot by the NPCs who assume any human player is a problem ... or cheaters, or hackers ... yeah, I like it quiet. No a**holes around to get in my way when hunting or scaring off my prey by acting like a bunch of diseased lunatics.

Online is dying since they wont put any effort into improving it as much as they do for GTA

If you're still doing the tutorial you won't run into any people. If you have done it, press L to see the menu then press players to see who/how many people are in your lobby

Sometimes after 8 times matchmaking it will work lol.
