Mail glitches-- can't receive mail (no bounties, have mail waiting) husband can't SEND mail (same situation)

Any fix to this? Tried reloading the game and nothing works. I can't receive mail and I have some waiting, he needs to send dinosaur bones on his game and can't because the "send mail" option won't show up.

The next mail is at 15
15 Dinosaur Bone locations found: Skull Statue
the last mail is also at 15.
30 Dinosaur Bone locations found: Deborah McGuinness' Invitation, Jawbone Knife
The last 8 are behind Black Water and can only get to them in the Epilogue part of the game.

Dude, this has nothing to do about where to find the bones. It has to do with not being able (on my PC) to receive mail and my husband, on his PC/his game, can't SEND mail.

Have you verify your files? If not see if that corrects it. If not, try to record what is going on and submit a ticket to R* over it.

Potential FIX for PC: The problem is likely with the keybindings, due to an overlap issue.

If your "Buy from Shop" key (which counts as "receive mail" for post offices) is bound to B it may overlap with the default for "Pay Bounty". The game does not detect this overlap and stops rendering "receive mail" if used because it prioritizes "Pay Bounty." Bind "Buy from Shop" to something different from "Pay Bounty" and you should be able to claim your parcels.

Sorry about the necro, but this is for people googling this. Bug still exists in 2022 (PC/Steam) and just spent 30 mins scouring the internet before finding the solution.
