How does it run on a 980 Ti AMP Extreme?

Greetings,
im bored to death and i might want to buy a new game to play. maybe rdr2. but first i need to know how it will run on my system...

im using a zotac 980 ti amp extreme with an 3700x and 32GB 3600Mhz RAM. playing at 1080p/60fps.

Could anyone tell me how it could perform?

At most you would get 1080/30 and that's with low graphics.

With my RTX 2080 it runs 3440x1440p at 60fps sometimes dips. My friends 1080ti which is equally powerful can barely keep 50 frames even at 1080p. So assuming performance degrades with older cards I'd say rip.

I think i have a weaker card than you, not a tech expert here..

I have a Laptop mobile 1060 6gb ram i7 7700hq.

Ultra textures, high lighting and high shadows, then the rest settings are all medium.. I get 40 fps average.. 45 at most..I think it dips to 35fps in dense areas but, im worried when i will finally get to the densest city, i may have to turn settings down, but its been pretty fun and very playable, save for a few crashes.

I can get 45 fps to 50 fps at medium though but i prefer the good looks xD

Your 980ti can play gta 5 on good settings but this game....you will have some problems

Gtx 1060 is quite a lot better than 980ti so didn't really help him he will have to play at most at low settings (with textures ultra maybe) on 1080p 30 fps

really? , i thought 980ti is about as good as a 1070.

well as a comfort low settings in the game aint that so bad looking..

Yeah low aint so bad after all and yeah you were wrong 1070 is a very good card even on this game 980ti is nowhere near it.I wish I had a 1070, right now I am using 1050ti and I can barely play at 1080p 30fps on ultra textures with the rest on medium.

Dude, don't listen to these people. A 980ti walks all over a gtx 1060 all day every day.

I'm playing with a 980Ti, the game runs perfectly well, mix between High and some useless things on medium, 1080p, 60fps 90% of the time.

More than 500Hours playing both Online and solo, no crash, etc.

I think I will get my self a 980ti it's pretty cheap for it's performance.
