horse flesh for dinner broken and not possible to complete

at the point where you have to calm the horse down it just wont calm down and i'm not able to lead it

i can tell its broken because i will calm it down then get the pet prompt but then get the prompt to lead it but its still freaking and i get told i was too slow out ive tried

1. restarting checkpoint
2. restarting mission
3. restarting the game
4. restarting computer
5. going off to do other missions and come back to it

i'm essentially stuck and unable to proceed any further

I had this issue when I was playing this part of story but after some tries I managed to lead the horse and finish the quest.

Another point why I dont like arabians..

Just ride it towards the gang.

If you go behind the horse and let it kick you it should run outside and trigger the cutscene
