- Don't donate feathers you barely get credit.
- Whole perfect(3 Star) carcasses get you the biggest donation credit. Best carcasses are
perfect cougars.
- Do quick small local runs to quickly level and to avoid griefing. Distant runs open you to
griefers(but give you a bigger payout than local)
- Doing a resupply mission gets you xp as opposed to paying the $20.
- Buy wagon upgrades when they become available(bigger wagon bigger payout).
- You have to buy the medium wagon to get the large wagon. You can't skip the medium and
holdout for the large.
It is the best option until you unlock the Carcano or Rolling Block Rifle.
Also, when you do the "Trade Route" free roam event, you can get up to 18 units of goods for your trader business.
It's that event where everybody stands on a train, and you have to kill npc bandits.
Basically a moving shooting gallery.
Do not pay for supplies. A supply-run not only gives XP and gets the production running again, but always grants a few materials as well (as if you were donating carcasses).
If u got bags to carry back to camp, each bag will reward you with 5 materials up to 20 when doing this mission with 4 people. When you get rewarded with a cart/waggon, it fills up your materials by 20.
So, don't skip or pay for supply runs!
Production supplies (the midle bar on the butcher table) don't show an amount, they are either there or not. You can only do supply runs if Cripps asks you to do them. But a supply run will also fill your materials stock (the upper bar on the butcher table) worth 5-20 materials depending on the mission.
I discovered yesterday that I need to wait until supplies are zip before the supply mission is allowed, though I'm not sure that's always the case.
